Competition Details
Celebrating Voices, Stories & Representation
Every two months, Bound by Diversity invites storytellers and writers from all backgrounds to share their unique voices. Through fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and scriptwriting, we want to amplify narratives that challenge prejudice, spotlight diversity, and give underrepresented communities a platform.
Word Counts
📖 All entries have a maximum of 3000 words and no minimum word count.
Categories & Entry Fees
📢 Young Voices (12-17) – Free
📢 Emerging Authors (18-25) – $5 Entry Fee
📢 Open (26+) – $10 Entry Fee
Prizes
🏆 The top entries will be published in our monthly collection
📖 The top 5 entrants will receive a free copy of the published collection
📚 The top 3 entrants will win a $200 voucher for our online writing workshops
📢 The top 2 entrants will receive a publication deal & book support, earning royalties from sales
💰 The winner will receive $1,000, a publication deal, and an opportunity to establish their writing career
