Peel back the layers of the familiar and step into a world viewed through a different lens. This isn't just a story; it's an unveiling of experiences that often remain unseen, a testament to the power of perspective shaped by a unique journey. Prepare for your understanding to be gently, yet powerfully, recalibrated.

"Being two mums in a small town had its unique set of challenges. For one, we never quite escaped that initial moment of confusion whenever we introduced ourselves at day-care or parent gatherings. “So, which of you is the mother?” they’d ask, eyes darting between us. “Both,” we’d say, trying not to chuckle at their puzzled expressions. Leo, for his part, never seemed bothered by it. To him, having two mums was as normal as breathing. In fact, one day he casually announced to his class that he had “double the cuddles and double the bedtime stories.” When you see it through his eyes, it’s actually quite brilliant."

Parent-teacher interviews are always fun. Especially when your kid sums up your family with "double the cuddles." My son's the best.
