"You’d think you’d get used to huntsman spiders the size of dinner plates, but let me tell you, that sense of startled betrayal never entirely goes away."

So, I moved to the Outback, right? Glamorous. Except, picture less Crocodile Dundee, more me screaming at a spider the size of my face, while my wife tries to grow a cocktail garden in a heatwave. Dubbo's been an adjustment, to say the least.
